Comprehensive Examination & Professional Cleaning
At Dental Collective, our comprehensive dental examinations extend beyond routine check-ups. We take a meticulous, preventative approach to support and maintain your optimal oral health.
What’s Included in Your Comprehensive Exam and Clean:
External examination of your face and jaw, including lymph nodes and jaw joint function (checking for pain, clicking, or restricted movement).
In-depth evaluation of soft tissues in the mouth, aiding early detection of oral cancer or other abnormalities.
Gum and bone health assessment.
Plaque and decay risk evaluation — saliva testing may be done if needed.
Assessment for tooth wear from grinding, clenching, or acid erosion.
Clinical check for cavities and infection (digital low radiation X-rays may be recommended at an extra cost).
Bite and occlusion analysis to ensure proper alignment and function.
Cleaning & Oral Hygiene: Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) with Air Polishing.
Reducing plaque (also known as oral biofilm) is essential for preventing nearly all dental diseases, including decay, gum disease, and implant-related infections. Untreated gum disease can also impact your general health, increasing the risk of systemic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis. That’s why we use the latest in dental cleaning technology.
We follow the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) protocol using Air Polishing - a state-of-the-art system for gentle yet effective cleaning.
This method removes plaque and stains more thoroughly than traditional scaling, while being much more comfortable — even for patients with sensitive teeth.
For added comfort, we offer numbing gel, local anaesthetic, or happy gas (nitrous oxide) where needed.
Your comfort is our priority. We make keeping your teeth clean and healthy a positive, stress-free experience.
Restorative Treatments
Fillings - Composite Resin
For cavities or breakages, we carefully restore the decayed and broken areas of the tooth using durable, aesthetic dental materials. Our materials are chosen to match or enhance your natural teeth, and are always mercury-free.
Ceramic restorations - Inlays, Onlays, Crowns and Veneers
Ceramic restorations offer an ideal solution for teeth that need more strength and durability than a standard filling can provide. Made from advanced ceramic materials, these restorations are exceptionally strong and highly resistant to fractures. They can withstand biting forces comparable to natural teeth—often outperforming traditional metal or composite alternatives.
Thanks to digital impressions and CAD/CAM technology, ceramic restorations are custom-milled for a remarkably precise fit, reducing the risk of decay or failure over time. With proper care, they can last significantly longer than resin-based options, making them a long-term, cost-effective investment in your oral health.
In addition to their durability, ceramic materials resist staining and wear, maintaining both their strength and aesthetic appeal for years to come.
Orthodontics - Teeth Alignment and Straightening
The Dental Collective team provides exceptional and comprehensive orthodontic care for both children and adults, using modern techniques to create healthy, beautiful smiles. Identifying bite and alignment issues early can prevent the need for future tooth extractions and may help reduce the risk of airway and breathing concerns in both children and adults.
Early Intervention Orthodontics and Removable Appliances
For younger children who still have baby (deciduous) teeth, early orthodontic assessment can help guide proper jaw growth and dental development. Treatments at this stage may include palatal expansion, growth modification, or addressing jaw alignment issues. Early intervention can reduce the need for more extensive treatment later on.
Fixed Braces
Fixed appliances, commonly known as braces, involve attaching brackets to the teeth to guide them into their ideal positions. This is the most commonly used method for comprehensive orthodontic treatment. We offer both traditional metal braces and more discreet ceramic (clear) brackets.
Invisalign®, SparkClear®, Clear Correct® - Clear Aligner Treatment
Clear aligner therapy such as Invisalign® and similar systems offer a discreet, effective, and highly customised solution for straightening teeth without the use of traditional braces. This advanced orthodontic treatment utilises a series of transparent, removable trays that gradually guide teeth into their ideal positions.
Each aligner is precisely crafted using 3D digital scans of your mouth, ensuring a comfortable fit and accurate tooth movement. Patients typically wear the aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day, removing them only for eating, brushing, flossing, or special occasions. This flexibility allows for minimal disruption to daily routines while maintaining excellent oral hygiene.
One of the most appealing aspects of clear aligner therapy is its virtually invisible appearance, making it an ideal choice for both teens and adults seeking a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to metal braces. Treatment is tailored to your unique dental anatomy and goals, with progress monitored regularly to ensure optimal results.
Clear aligner therapy is not only a convenient and discreet way to enhance your smile, it also supports long-term oral health by correcting misalignment, improving bite function, and making it easier to maintain clean teeth and gums.

Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry
All treatments provided at Dental Collective are focused on restoring both the health and appearance of your teeth. For our dentists, cosmetics is not only a distinct area of dentistry, but an important component of every service we provide.
Our cosmetic smile analysis examines all components of your smile including the shape, angulation and colour of your teeth, the contour of your smile, lip prominence and facial profile. This produces a final result that not only enhances your smile but also suits your face.
Options for cosmetic dentistry include, but are not limited to: veneers, prep-less veneers, crowns, teeth whitening, teeth alignment (orthodontics), microabrasion of enamel defects, replacement of stained or failing restorations, and simple stain removal.
Veneers
Veneers are thin layers of porcelain or composite resin that are placed on the front surfaces of teeth to change the appearance of your smile. Teeth that are discoloured, chipped, rotated, or spaced can be transformed with veneers. Porcelain veneers are fabricated in a laboratory by expert ceramists from digital scan of the prepared teeth. Composite veneers are placed directly, and built up on the teeth by the dentist.
Prep-less Veneers
Most veneers require the shaving down of natural tooth structure. Prep-less veneers can improve the shape and colour of your teeth with no preparation or removal of healthy structure. For good candidates, prep-less veneers are an excellent solution to avoid most of the risks associated with conventional veneers.
Teeth Whitening
We provide Philips Zoom in-chair whitening for whiter, brighter teeth in just one hour. We also offer take-home bleaching kits which are custom made for your teeth and use only Therapeutic Goods Australia-approved bleaching solutions, resulting in safe and effective teeth whitening.

Children’s and Family Dentistry
Good dental habits start early. Introducing your children to regular dental check-ups and cleaning can ensure correct dental hygiene and prevent dental issues later in life.
Our clinicians know that children are receptive to education when they are in a caring environment. We are passionate about educating young people about good oral hygiene and diet choices in the hope that they can avoid preventable dental treatment in the future. The early diagnosis of bite problems and other issues associated with parafunction such as thumb sucking is important to reduce dental issues in adulthood.
Dental Collective supports the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).
This is a government program that offers $1,000 of dental treatment for eligible children.
Please follow this link to assess your eligibility:www.servicesaustralia.gov.au
Please advise us if you will be using CDBS prior to your appointment, so that we can arrange the required consent forms and paperwork.
Snoring and Sleep Apnoea
Sleep apnoea (also spelt apnea) refers to disordered breathing during sleep. It can involve pauses in breathing or obstruction to the airway, reducing the passage of oxygen. These disruptions may seem minor; however, they severely impact quality of sleep and oxygen levels. Because the disorder disrupts normal sleep and oxygen flow, those affected may experience sleepiness or feel tired during the day. In children it may cause hyperactivity or problems in school.
SomnoDent oral devices are clinically proven treatments for mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). They are also effective treatments for snoring. As a mandibular advancement splint (MAS), the SomnoDent oral devices function by comfortably positioning the patient’s mandibular forward, clearing the obstructed airway.
Mouthguards
Dental Collective provides custom sports mouthguards for superior fit and protection.
Your dentist will create an impression of your teeth, after which your mouthguard is usually ready within five days.
Teeth Grinding and Jaw Pain
Dental Collective can assess the causes of grinding and jaw pain, and offer night splints or muscle relaxant injections to alleviate your symptoms and prevent further loss of tooth structure.
Missing Teeth
Missing teeth can affect your smile, function, and confidence. At Dental Collective, we provide multiple solutions, including bridges, dental implants, and dentures. Come in for a consultation and take the first step towards restoring your comfort and confidence.
Root Canal Therapy: Endodontics
When the nerve inside your tooth is infected, whether caused by injury, a deep cavity or an abscess, a successful root canal treatment allows you to keep your tooth rather than have it extracted.
Dental Collective has invested in the latest technology in Endodontics to provide faster treatment and more predictable results.
Endodontic treatment involves the cleaning and shaping of the canal that holds the infected or inflamed nerve tissue in the tooth. The treatment is very case-specific, but usually takes two to three appointments.

Digitally Planned Orthodontics
Whether you’re undergoing clear aligner therapy or fixed orthodontics, we use digital planning to tailor your treatment for optimal results and comfort.
